Re: CFL Plus/Preseason Live

I'm a die-hard Lios fan living in Portugal with my wife and 2 kids, and we moved here just under two years ago. I was very happy the CFL had the International streaming service through Visaic, which I happily paid for. I think it was something like 40$ to watch only Lions games, which didn't include...

Re: Lions at Bombers Oct. 28, 2022

I was interested to see if Delvin Breaux would get any game action at all this week. He was marked as a full participant in practice this past week but is not in the lineup against the Bombers. I'm hoping that is just extra maintenance before he suits up in the Western Semi next week. With him in th...

Re: 2022 Free Agents - BC Targets - Top 5

I’m reasonably happy about most of the offers the lions have submitted, Purifoy should never have been let go imo. The exception to this is Lawler’s offer. To me that seems like misplaced money that I’d rathere we spent on Davis or Wynn. I guess the idea is to surround Rourke with playmakers, but as...

Re: Lions 2022 free agents

This is indeed good news. I'm wondering if it spells the end of Burnham's time in B.C. It felt almost as though Whitehead usurped Burham as the Lions go-to target. Combine that with too many losing seasons for a receiver nearing the end of his career, and I wouldn't be surprised if Burham walked and...

Re: Lions at Redblacks Aug. 28, 2021

Taking a look at the Injury reports today, things seems little more hopeful. Lemar Durant was a full participant, after being a limited one yesterday. Also, TJ Lee was back to being limited after being DNP. Fig is till DNP, and I would agree that he should be held out, not only to give him the rest ...

Re: Mike Reilly, Lemar Durant restructure contracts

I keep wondering about just what CFL season will look like. Given the 2 vaccines already approved, and hopefully a 3rd on the way (the one from Oxford and co.) it would seem like it's only a matter of time before this pandemic is a thing of the past. The timing though, might be interesting. I'm bett...

Re: 2021 CFL free agency

I agree with our urgency when it comes to the D-Line. I was really hoping that the 1 year contracts that were signed for Casher, Brown, Junior Tavai, and of course Micah Johnson would be addressed. I suppose they still will be, but it seems somehow unlikely that all of them will be retained. Given R...

Re: why is CFL interest so tepid in toronto?

A very interesting post for sure. I just got back from living in Toronto for 14 years, having moved from Vancouver Island. As a die hard lions fan, and one of my best friends a die hard Riders fan, we both became Argos season ticket holders to support the CFL and to see first hand how the BMO field ...

Re: 2021 CFL free agency

Ok so I wasn’t seeing things on Lions website. They signed Jordan Williams but not the same guy they drafted. I was wondering... that would be interesting of both guys make the roster.

Re: 2021 CFL free agency

Going through this list quickly, my first reaction is to feel really disappointed that none of the 1 year contracts the lions were able to sign were able to play. It's tough to imagine all of them coming back again, especially with Hervey gone. He was aggressive in free agency. With the economic lan...

Thanks for that B.C. Fan.

I would so love someone to create a page similar to CapGeek for the NHL, but for CFL football. I'd wager there are enough die-hards out there to make it happen, but one can dream.

Re: BC Lions Free Agents Signings & Signings around the CFL

So how do the staff from wither 3 Down Nation, TSN or CFL.ca come up with these numbers? Do they just ask the GM's once the deals are announced? Compared to almost every other pro sports league in North America, the CFL salaries are such a black box. Perhaps that's due to the disparity between QB's ...

Re: Poll - Who do you think will be BC Lions Coach

All rumours aside, I had a feeling it would be Claybrooks from the beginning. I'm not even sure why, he just seems like Hervey's kind of coach. Also, Steinhauer is now the Ti-cats head coach, so there goes that idea.
If not Claybrooks, bet on Craig Dickenson.

Just my two cents worth.

Re: Potential New Receivers for BC

Why not give some of our younger guys a shot? Why did we draft Vandervoort is we're not going to atleast give him a look? Or give Will Watson a look a wideout? Surely with the amount of drops last game , and our season hanging by a thread , we can start trying some different looks?

Re: Re: Games of Week 10, August 17-19, 2018

Very interesting post Champion. I'm a long-time Lions fan, now living in TO and this year I'm a season-ticket holder with the Argos, more to support the CFL and the try and help this market than anything, but I also want to like the Argos. MLSE does have deep pockets, which has to be a good thing o...
