Newly acquired Shaun Shivers starts at running back with no backup this week other than David Mackie, who has no backup at FB. Lucky Whitehead returns, giving the Lions a full receiving corps for the first time. Taquan Mizzell, Kienan LaFrance and Daniel Petermann are moved to the injured list.

On defence, Adrian Greene starts at safety. Quincy
Mauger moves to SAM for Manny Rugamba, who is on the 1-game injured list. Siriman Bagayogo and Brooks Parker are added for depth and special teams.

Interested to see Shivers.. I watched some of his college reel. and I didnt see him break 1 tackle. wonder what they see in him.

Rugamba has been terrific since displacing Purifoy at SAM midway through last season. Hopefully his absence won’t be too noticeable.

No other team comes close to relying on so many nationals on defence and Greene getting his first ever start adds to it. Als like many start 1 national on defence.

It’s going to be an intriguing game for sure against a good Als defence as Adams looks to bounce back with rookie RB making his debut.

They may not want to subject Lucky to the pounding of the return game given he has had more injuries lately.....

Hello Lion and CFL fans. My son gave me a nice Father’s Day gift to see the ALs and Lions play today. Only problem is we’re in Montreal (oops!). So if anyone wants 2 free tickets (section 200 level 241 row O) let me know. Will be first come first served!
