Excellent blocked FG for a TD in response to Montreal punt block of their own. :towel:

Call me unimpressed with this game so far. Adams looks tentative, his passes aren't quite on target and sooner or later, he is going to be late or lead too much and it is going to turn over..
The D didn't look very sharp either especially in that last 40 seconds. That last reception, don't touch the player on the ground. Play isn't dead unless he is touched. 1 sec. !!!! Clock runs out. Lions are a bit lucky to be up as much as they are. Hopefully, they will settle down a little in the second half but the O needs to be a lot crisper and quicker.
And now the wisdom of only one RB rears it's head. Is Shiver's good for the 2nd? I'm not sure he will be. So no run game except for Mackie who also has no backup. Not sure what the brain trust is thinking there?
Tell me how long must a fan be strong? Ans. Always.

I think Shivers is good for the 2nd. He wasn't in the tent for more than 30 seconds. I thought maybe they'd already sent him to the locker room but he was standing on the sidelines between team mates.

Good call by a fan a few rows behind me. He hollered "drop it" while the ball was still 20' above Chandler's head....and he did.

play calling seems a little vanilla.. like to see some roll outs to get away from the rush.. and yes, some better tackling..

EDIT: Shivers is now down on the sidelines in full uniform and gear.

Great throw to Cottoy. Good touch on it while on the run. I wanna see more VA running and throwing. Some more designed roll outs would be appreciated even though that one wasn't.

Seems like the OC is going back to the basics for VA. The good VA has shown up today.
