Bo Lokombo is listed as questionable for the Lions' Thursday game in Ottawa. Isaiah Guzylak-Messam, who started at WILL in 2019, is listed as his backup but Ben Hladik filled in when Lokombo suffered his head injury on Saturday against Toronto.
James Butler, who also suffered a head injury against Toronto, is listed as starting running back, with fullback David Mackie as his replacement if needed.
Bryan Burnham, who suffered fractured ribs and a punctured lung in the same game, has been placed on the 6-game injured list. Keon Hatcher, who has proved to be a clutch receiver in his second year with the Lions, will replace Burnham at boundary slot, where he got some experience last year. Rookie WR Josh Pearson, who spent two days with the first-team offence in training camp, is activated from the practice roster to take Hatcher's spot as field WR.
There are no other changes to the starting lineup. DBs Garry Peters, Loucheiz Purifoy and Marcus Sayles, who were all limited in the Lions' only practice this week, are listed in their usual starting positions, which is good news because their experience will be needed against Jeremiah Masoli's passing attack. The only other roster change is the return of rookie DT Nathan Cherry, who missed the Argo game with a knee injury. National DB Jamie Harry moves to the 1-game injured list.
