This is great news. I think losing him would hurt the Lions:
The BC Lions Football Club today announced that international receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux has signed a contract for the 2018 season.

Earlier I said that I didn't think Manny would be back if Wally was still here. Maybe I should have said if Khari was still here. Interesting timing that he re-signs after the OC gets canned.

I don't think Manny wanted to go anywhere else at this stage of his career. Hervey is focused on retaining the team's core players, especially those who take a leadership role off the field.
“Signing Emmanuel is a significant step toward our goal of keeping our core of talented and productive veterans, as well as building the most talented roster possible for 2018,” Hervey said in a statement of the one-year deal for the 2018 season. “He is one of the CFL’s premier receivers and his leadership is a critical part of the culture we want in our dressing room.”

Yeah!!!!
Didn't think it would happen this fast. Hard to imagine him in any other team colours. He is the leader of this club.

I spent the first 2 or 3 posts just trying to wrap my head around what I thought the title had been saying.
NOTE - to avoid confusion for those reading the story for the first time, we have added a hyphen to the heading.
