I don't understand how Mitchell gets the nod to be number 1, he wouldn't make my top 10, but nor would Ray at this stage of his career. Nice to see Bighill get some attention, he deserves it.

5 Lions on the list, and I can't think of any other Lion that should be on the list.

Jon Cornish should be No. 1 by a mile. Otherwise, my only complaint is the inclusion of DBs Brandon Smith, Antoine Pruneau and Maurice Leggett and the exclusion of four-time CFL all-star Ryan Phillips.

Not sure why they bothered including John White on this list since he's out for the season having torn his Achilles in camp two weeks ago. Or was the list drawn up before that?
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Where's Andre Proulx?

I'm sure he would consider himself by far the most important "player" on the field whenever he's out there.

The fans paid to come see him do his work, didn't they?

Messam sure got some attention with his calling out of the Top 50 after his TD run. Just want to point out to him, that he wasn't the best RB in the game, but maybe he meant that Cotton should have been in the CFL's Top 50. :) Cotton was able to bust initial contact and then he just made defenders miss by a ton in confined running spaces.

An attitude and ego like that kind of explains why he's bounced around the league as much as he has.
You're as old as you've ever been and as young as you're ever going to be.
