Nope, what that means is that Stephen Jyles is going to be ready to play.
Tell me how long must a fan be strong? Ans. Always.

Looks like Stephen Jyles will be their number one going forward. The way Cleo was standing on the sidelines sulking after being pulled was reminiscent of Casey Printers during the twilight of his Hamilton days. Although I would be a little upset in his shoes too, completing 11/15 passes while having a couple receivers drop catchable balls too. The 57 yards isn't his fault...more of a byproduct of shoddy OC play calling. Gee where have we seen this movie before?almo89 wrote:How will this affect the rematch this weekend?

Roar you Lions roar!
When the TV crew pointed out how Lemon was standing on the opposite side of the O, I had a suspicion that the deed was in place. As much as Barker said it was the entire O's fault, it didn't sit well with him not involved with the play calling and Bell. A big move in their eyes, but necessary in order to help buy time for Barker.
Entertainment value = an all time low

Barker chose Lemon last year and went with him.
Somewhere along the way, Barker grew disenchanged with Lemon, and it was obvious by last game that Lemon was disenchanted with how he was being treated.
Most of this is on Barker IMO. He chose Lemon. He stayed with him. Then he started to pressure Lemon and demand more productivity.
IMO Barker is in over his head. Dumping a QB in mid season. Where have we heard that before? LOL
Gotta blame somebody, it seems. So the Field Marshall fires the Officer in the front ranks. And in so doing attempts to save his own hide.
Many observers thought Lemon showed little potential from Day 1. He seems like just another QB ruined in the NFL quarterback factory. Too much garbage in their heads. Too many things to think about. The instincts are ruined. They become robots. It is a difficult process to take an instinctive quarterback, fill his head full of stuff, and then expect him to get back to being instinctive by incorporating it all. A number of ex-NFL QBs have come to the CFL and failed with their robotic play.

Even if Jyles starts, it's been about 10 months since he's played. Rust will lead to turnovers.
OTOH, players will be playing for their jobs evenmore than normal so it could improve the intensity for the Argos.
Having said that, they are not a team laden with talent.

The Argos should definitely be taking a run at Pat White. I think I had seen somewhere that he's on their neg list. Currently he's playing for some UFL team.
