The Lions D kept them in the first half.
Harris can carry the rock when the opportunity is given.
Mitchell is a solid DT that can play on the big field.
Lions still have a chance to surpass last seasons start next week.
Lulay has some fire in him, now he needs to channel it.

Akeem Foster, Harris, Eliminian, Paul McCallum trumped only by brilliance in the GM's office and this:

Arland Bruce the 33.
Wally Buono.
Jacques Chapdelaine.
Dan Dorazio
Mike Benevides.

OMG, I have to dig deep here.

Akeem Foster. Luv this player. Oh, yeah, we didn't bother to give him any live reps last year. D'oh. OK, that was positive followed by a negative.

Andrew Harris. Nice run. Oooops ... penalty.

Solomon.

Dennis and Kornegay. Yeay, our pickups are better than what we had to start the year.

Mitchell.

J.R. LaRose. Luv this guy's character.

Slowing down here ... Ummmmmm ... Tired now. Is that enough positives? LOL

No no Toppy Vann, this is the good thread to read after the game.

Wally didn't elect to kick to start both halves. Guess he didn't think the 3mph wind was worth the possession. Hmmm. Other positives. Solomon the elimiminator is a helluva player. Phillips caught something. I'm fresh out...

Keron Williams was coming hard of the edge all night. His motor was impressive given how often the defence was on the field.

Harris had 2 fumbles.

As for positives:

Wr play improved, only one "key" drop, Peterson down at the 8, otherwise I thought they played with good intensity

Lulay deserved to be pulled and was, now he knows that is not his job by Divine Right

Defense played well

I thought winning the coin toss was a positive.

The defense wasn't too bad tonight given the horrible predicaments that the O and special teams put them in all night. Other than that, not much that I can think of. When we got the too many men call on 2nd and 1 in the 2nd quarter, I was pretty convinced at that point that the game was going to go from bad to worse. Sadly, I was right.
Tell me how long must a fan be strong? Ans. Always.

Now we KNOW that the O-line needs some talent; previously, we only suspected it. That's a positive.

And another thing ...

Now we know that using citizenship as a basis for choosing personnel -- players AND coaches -- works best in government. But probably not in pro football. That's sorta positive ...

The Bombers were not as successful as I thought they would be running the ball. Ried or Pierce. That walk-in TD was painful but I have watched Ried have a monster game versus the Lions and that was painful.

Also, considering the keystonecops routine in the first half, the Lions were within striking distance at halftime. Unfortunately halftime adjustments don't seem to be a Lions coaching strongpoint.......

Can't think of any at the moment. Let me sleep on it.

Both Travis and Jarious now know the difference between cirrus and altostratus cloud formations from lying on their backs all night.

Tailgate was again excellent.

Weather was outstanding.

Beer was cold.
