I've seen an on-line discussion about this. Apparently on some college teams the O-line is instructed not to move if the D-line jumps offside. If you look at the right guard, he does the same thing for a time - just lets the D-lineman run past him at first.

Now, I'm not sure what the point of this is. To make the offside obvious? To prevent an offsetting infraction that would take away the offence's option of accepting the offside penalty? I'm guessing. But I wanted to point out that the tackle may not actually have been as stunned as he appears... just 'following orders.'
