It bears stating that we would be losing against Ottawa's losing score at this point.

Doesn't say much about all that QB exp. They were touting at the beginning of the game.

I don't blame you, can't help but feel sorry for the fans in attendance.

The lack of desire stems from taking a knee in the Riders end of game possession.

Highest paid player in the CFL, playing second to the opposing QB's week after week.

Nice drive by the Lions, no finish though.

Will watch for the Lions taking a knee to end this game if they get the chance.

Step in the right direction by the coaching staff, still giving experience to Rourke instead of taking a knee.

Where's the entertainment factor? Where's the creativity? I know competition in this league is stiff -- nothing comes easy, and a fan has to realize their team can lose any given game as a result, but to not entertain over the course of an entire game is unacceptable.
Our Lions' coaching staff has been revealed to be very mediocre it seems. We have talent, even without Whitehead in the lineup, but we lack imagination, creativity, and passion it would seem. Having one star WR out of the lineup is no excuse at all.
I set aside time to be a fan, be it either attending or watching from home. I expect the coaches and players to come up with something more than what they had to offer, any game, but especially after a week off and playing on their home turf. The coaching staff should be embarrassed, and some of the players need to show some passion. Some fire in the belly. Calgary now has us in their rear-view mirror, and I anticipate we'll likely stay there so far as the standings are concerned.
