What an awful end to a completely stellar day of NFL.

4 Games in total... I'm a fiend  It was AWESOME :rockin: Brunch was in full effect... complete with a dinner add-on.

I caught Carolina's win over New Orleans.
Watched Brady lead the Patriots to victory over the Bengals.
Salivated over the great game between the Redskins and Jacksonville.... Washington has a mighty fine field there  Good team to work with actually.

Basked in the afterglow of 12 games worth of highlights & commentary

At which point I was sufficiently primed for a nice healthy game of pigskin Pacific Northwest style to cap off the day, enter Seahawks and DaBears.

What a disappointment :x

Hasselbeck spent most of his time on his back for the game :bang: The Bears dominated, intimidated, rushed and sacked poor Matty into oblivion. I had to turn it off early in the 4th, when I was absolutely sure there was no hope of turning this game around. :sigh:

Good thing Seattle is on a bye this week... they seriously need to rethink their game plan. :cr:

Their next game will be against their division rival Rams in St. Louis. The Rams came back to win last night, unlike the Seahawks. Hopefully, Alexander will have recovered from his injury by then.

Caught Instant Replay and (IIRC) they described the Bears win as a 'manhandling', thought to myself "great description". Hasselback was disgusted with himself/team.

Well I wouldn't say disgusted... just disappointed for this fan... but it is encouraging to see they aren't taking this loss lightly.

The Giants get beat on by the Hawks. Limp into a bye.

When do DaBears get a bye? Their turns coming.

The next game with the Rams will be for first place in the division which could be one of the pivotal games of the year.

Bad news for the Seahawks today as the St. Louis Rams held off the Green Bay Packers 23-20 so they now hold first place in the NFC West.

More like Brett Farve choked. They were close enough for a chip shot FG to tie and the old piece of crap fumbled.

Seattle's defence better be ready for the Rams' explosive offence next week.

What's the latest on Shaun Alexander?
