I am not very confident in the Lions against the Bombers. I give an edge to the Bombers on Oline, Dline, LBs, RB. Lions get the edge in DBs, special teams, pass receivers, but without a balanced attack due to a lack of a running game, its not much of an edge.
I hope I am wrong but take away the Lions big play game and it becomes an easy win for the Bombers.

I agree with you that everything points to Winnipeg dominating this game. The puzzling thing to me is that the betting line has Winnipeg at only 1 point favorite.
Hopefully Vegas knows something that we don't. They don't build all those fountains by being wrong to often.

Vegas doesn't know the CFL all that well, so they rely on stats. Fine except do they know that most of the Lions stats are against teams with loosing records or that Lions rely too much on big plays?tedbear wrote: ↑Fri Oct 01, 2021 6:53 pmI agree with you that everything points to Winnipeg dominating this game. Does Vegas know that Bombers have the two best D players in the CFL in Jefferson and Bighill and Jeffcoat is not exactly chopped liver or how versatile Harris is at RB as a RB, blocker, pass receiver?

This game has a feel of not if but when the bombers take over.

Not a good drive by the D given how easily Winnipeg marched to the red zone, but at least they stopped them for a field goal.

Well I think our offense is going to have to be a little bit more ball control if we going to have a chance in this game

It’s going to be a LONG night with no running game (again!) no pass rush and a zero ability to make plays in the secondary. Horrible ball reaction by the rookie Wilson on the TD
