Hey I am 23 and live in Calgary now....its nice if you want a good job, but it sucks if you have hated the Stamps your whole life and now the only way to see games is to watch them. I love the CFL and go to every Stamps game, usually cheering for the other team. Here's hoping I can finally get back to Vancouver for a game next year.

Best CFL moment...after moving to Calgary in 2000 my beloved Lions kicked the Stamps asses in the Western Final only to have the Lions take over their locker room and beat Montreal in the Grey Cup...Man did we get some dirty looks after we paraded downtown with our flags and jerseys and horns!!!!!!

Hey, my name is Derek. I'm 23 and live in PoCo. I have a pair of season tix, in sec 37 and i swear im one of the loudest people in the stadium. I don't even mind all the dirty looks from the other fans who must have mistakenly thought they were watching golf, checkers or ladies 5-pin bowling. Been a Lions fan my whole life and now have many of my buddies as crazy into the lions as I am. My kids are not old enough to go, but when they are I'm sure they'll sit as far away from me as possible and say that they don't know me!haha[/b]

Do I get a high-five too BB? My grandparents have been ST holders with the Lions since their inception and I'm getting ST this year too. :rockin:

Greetings from Alberta, having just moved here from the "thriving" city of Surrey. Never thought that I would say it but I miss the rain??? Average temperatures here, around -18 to -22 plus wind chill factor. Brrrr! Generally a CFL fan, but I am partial to the Stamps, having grown up in Calgary. Must say though, that my time in BC made me somewhat of a Lions fan , as well. Good luck to Wally and the boys for '05.

Are the Lionbackers expanding with a sister club in Calgary?

Lionbackers expanding with a sister club in Calgary or gostampsgo expanding with a sister club in BC? An affiliation between gostampsgo and Lionbackers could be a natural fit, considering all of the ex-Stampeder alumni with the Lions!
