The Lions’ depth chart shows no major changes from last week. Jordan Williams starts at middle linebacker ahead of Ben Hladik, who has been limited in practice this week by a knee injury. Bo Lokombo starts at weakside linebacker. Anthony Cherry and Woody Baron swap positions on the defensive line, and Adrian Greene returns from injury as a backup DB and special teamer, taking the national roster spot that OL Noah Zerr filled.

Sure wish at least Gwacham & Mackie are elevated from doubtful to starter for Friday. Lions really need to win not let 2nd place come down to next week in Winnipeg.

Especially with the Riders essentially throwing in the towel against the Stamps by benching Fajardo in favour of Mason Fine. .

Gwacham's knee injury must have been quite severe. Tomorrow's game will mark the 5th consecutive game he has missed since going down in the September 17 home game against Calgary.

The Leos had better be ready to match the Elks' intensity. This will be their "Grey Cup." We saw what happened the last time a team was fired up (July 9 vs the Bombers) and it wasn't pretty. A win tomorrow will give the club more time to hype/sell tickets for the West Semi so it's very important.

Disappointing to still see 8 starters out tonight: defence- Banks, Breaux, Gwacham; offence- Rourke, Mackie, Norman, Whitehead, Burnham.

If Cornelius was playing I wouldn’t feel good about this game at all as the Elks try to get the gorilla home losing streak off their backs in their final game of 2022. We also haven’t won at Commonwealth since 2013.

Win ugly I don’t care. Just get 2nd place locked up and create roster options for what would be a mean nothing game next week in Winnipeg.

The Elks have had to juggle the left side of their O-line this week due to a head injury to LT Martez Ivey. Former Lion David Foucault will slide out to left tackle and former Hamilton draft pick Jesse Gibbon will be inserted at LG for his first start as an Elk.
