Canuck's loss and the Hab's gain.
The only thing Canucks are playing for is the will-o'-the-wisp idea that they could end up in a better draft lottery position--BUT they must lose as many games as possible (without looking like they are obviously tanking.) It looks like a top 3 spot is already out of reach--since the Kraken are automatically slotted in #3.
So, here's to more losing of the most ridiculous games ever played in the NHL.

Well, that is business for you. This season has been a flawed product from the get go. The division alignments for a start, the issues with travel to other regions which were struggling far worse with Covid outbreaks. In our case, just lucky enough to win the Covid lottery and have our team out for an extended period. You could predict that something like this was going to happen somewhere to some team. It happened to be us. But $ are $. The product has been less than entertaining and you know that is going to stick for awhile after this ends. But the league had a choice. Offer something in some form or cancel. The later was unthinkable I guess. As this roles out, it makes the whole process look rather pathetic. I can't think that any real fans of the game are especially pleased with how this season has gone. They may be more forgiving as fans and would rather watch something than nothing but at the end of the day, it has still been a less entertaining product than normal.
Tell me how long must a fan be strong? Ans. Always.
