Steps taken to upgrade the OL and DL. Willis and Figueroa. Is that it for those units in acquiring veteran FAs from around the league?

And then the FA camps down south.

And the CFL draft.

This fan cannot get too excited yet.

We need to see how the offence looks under Jarious.

And of course, this fan expects the same philosophy of defence under Mark Washington.

I do expect exciting, well prepared play from the STs, under Reinebold.

We have much of the makins' of a competitive team.

Don't forget Knapton.

Davis Sanchez offers some interesting comments from Odell Willis about his new and former teammate, Joel Figueroa.

I know there isn't a great deal of choice available with National O-Linemen but it would be nice to get a warm body or two that carry a Canadian passport under contract, to go with our 2 new internationals.

Absolutely right. Maybe one more NAT OL?

Zac Evans is heading back to the Riders from Ottawa.

Not happy about that last move....
Rider Nation needs a collective cigarette. A bunch of loads were just blown over that move.
Ewwwww........
And they already had 3 years worth of spunk buildup waiting in the belief Franklin was guaranteed to wind up there.

Pickings are already slim. There's 7 left. 3 were with BC last year and 2 more were at one time with BC. Kirby Fabien may be the best of what is left.

Remaining NAT OL:
MTL - Chris Greaves
OTT - former BC draft pick Matt Albright
CGY - former BC depth OL Cam Thorn
EDM - Simeon Rottier - now 34
BCL - Kirby Fabien, Jaskaran Dhillon and Andrew Jones

It would be nice to get Fabien back but he should be somewhat in demand for all teams looking for either a starter or depth.

Was Cummings a Hervey signing in Edmonton?

I don't want to sound negative but is anyone else a little curious (maybe worried) that Hervey is concentrating a little too much on ex-Eskimoes?

Don't get me wrong, I like who he has signed thus far. But Tommy Campell is in play, along with Jamal Westermann.... And of course, Chandler Fenner.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed international defensive back Chandler Fenner, the team announced on Tuesday.

Big loss for Leos. Bombers just got better.

Purifoy and Fenner are big losses, particularly Fenner.

Kinda funny, Purifoy excels at SAM but gives way to Fenner who also excelled and needed to bump Purifoy so he could be inserted as a starter. Now they are both gone.

Hope Campbell finds his way here or Heath.
