Leone converts the Gore touchdown on BC's opening series of Q3. 24-16 BC. Hugely needed score with so many injuries on D. You get the feeling we'll pretty much have to match Cgy score for score the rest of the way.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Hige defensive stop by the Lions at the Calgary 32. How not to get a first-down against an injury-depleted defence: have Bo Levi Mitchell run laterally instead of Jerome Messam straight ahead.

We're seeinf angood defensive battle. The Stamps have taken away te B.C. Running game but The Lions have managed to move the ball in the air. The Lions have dona a good job against the Calgary passing game.

Nice catch and run from Burnham on 2nd & long. He fumbles at the end of the play but it rolls harmlessly OOB to maintain BC possession.
