Stampeders vs. Lions Game Day Thread

Bazzie sacks BLM for a huge 13yd loss, then Fraser picks off his next toss to even the turnover battle, takes it almost all the way, down to the Cgy1 as Q1 wraps.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.
Jennings under centre again as Q2 starts and calls his own number this time — 1 yd TD plunge! 15-3 BC with the convert to come. Leone kicks the 1PC to make it 16-3 BC.
Moj is saying Edem could be done for the night.

Leone adds another rouge on the ensuing kickoff, 17-3 BC.

Purifoy could be out for the rest of the game. Lions depth will be tested
Edem, Purifoy, Brooks and now Menard all in sick bay. That's too many guys to lose on one side of the ball if they're all done for the night.
