Paredes responds with a 46yd FG for Cgy just as TSN breaks away from the Ssk@Mtl game. 8-3 BC.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

We just scored a PR TD and after allowing a FG we elect to scrimmage on our 35?

To be fair there was a break in the action after Cgy's FG that gave them a small pocket of time to do that before play resumed.

Lions go gambling 3rd & goal @Cgy1 with Jennings under centre.

Handoff to Rainey is stuffed for a loss. TOD.

Gamble failed. Poor play calling.

Lousy call. Everybody in the park knew it would be a jet sweep to Rainey. That's what they successfully used against the Stamps last time.

Cgy inside their own five on 3rd down and will punt it away to Rainey near midfield with little or no return and a flag will push BC back to their own 48.

BC goes 2 & out, Leone punts into goal with no return for a rouge. 9-3 BC.
