http://www.krem.com/sports/Kaufman-make ... 07161.html (The article does not mention B.C 's attendance but Roy Shivers was at the pro day last
year) Keep an eye out for QB Kyle Padron. This guy shadowed Calgary's Bo Levi Mitchell throughout his college career. He's currently in the Oakland Raiders camp.
The wide receivers are all undrafted free agents in the following order (Brandon Kaufmann - Buffalo Bills, Greg Herd - Dallas Cowboys, and Nick Edwards - San Diego Chargers).

I didn't investigate very far into this, but just to be clear, the CFL teams all have 30 man negotiation list on suitable talent, either from college or on an NFL team. While each of those players may well be on the Lions negotiation list, it is more likely that they are on another CFL teams list. Unfortunately for the fans, the teams don't release their lists and one of the reasons is the constant flux that they are in....

Speaking of new Lions, in addition to the recent signing of WR Elvis Akpla (6'-1", 190 lbs), the Lions signed 3 new receivers on Wednesday (all listed as 6'-0", 180-185 lbs), bringing the number of receivers on the roster to 14 WR + 1 SB (S. Gore), which pretty much says it all about the state of the Lions receiving corps.

BC Lions add 3 Receivers for Training Camp

The BC Lions Football Club announced today that import receivers Jaymar Johnson, Korey Williams and William Cole have signed with the team. All three new additions will attend the club’s mini-camp for first-year Leos slated for Kamloops from May 30 to June 1. The club’s main training camp gets underway on Sunday, June 2.

Johnson was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the sixth round of the NFL Draft in 2008 (193rd overall). After spending a season on the practice roster he returned to the Vikes in 2009 and appeared in five games notching one reception for nine yards. After an injury sidelined him for the 2010 campaign, he was eventually released in 2011and signed by the Arizona Cardinals who assigned Jaymar to their practice roster before releasing him in training camp the following year.

Williams spent time with the IFL’s Omaha Beef in 2012 before signing with the Sioux Falls Storm where he played in 10 games as a receiver, running back and kick returner, recording 1,329 all-purpose yards and 18 touchdowns

Over four seasons at Northwest Oklahoma State, Williams rewrote the Rangers’ receiving records, owning most receptions for a game (14), season (81) and career (214). He also broke the career receiving mark with 2,784 yards along with the career record for most touchdown passes caught with 25.

Cole attended Oklahoma State as a highly recruited Dallas-area high school standout. After seeing limited action during his freshman season he notched two receptions for seven yards. During preparation for the 2008 season, Cole suffered a season ending injury and eventually departed the program for North Texas.
