I happened to be downtown today and did take a look around Stanley Park and if he was there he wasn't sporting Lion gear that I saw, or any CFL team gear. I wonder if he was found out or not.

Does anyone know what he looks like? I'm actually on campus now.
Guess you didn't locate him then, too bad. Would be nice if someone from this site found him.Anglophone wrote:Does anyone know what he looks like? I'm actually on campus now.

I don't think anyone who's in a position to tell does, which kinda seems to be the point.Anglophone wrote:Does anyone know what he looks like? I'm actually on campus now.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.
Ah, mystery solved for me. I was wandering down near Harbour Centre today (around 1:30 PM) and two seperate guys asked me if I was a Vancouver fan. Now I know why, they were hoping I was the mystery man. I was puzzled at the time and just answered YES and kept on going. This contest is working because I was asked twice and according to the agenda he wasn't even probably going to be in that area at the time. Good luck to the mystery man hunters......
LOL hope they didn't chase after you, demanding to make with the GC tix!notahomer wrote:Ah, mystery solved for me.
