On the positive side, we beat the Argos next week, at 2-6 we are ahead of last yr's first 8 games and heading into the Bye Week with a playoff spot in hand.
-Defense has been playing better the last two games
-Foster is a Keeper, so is Gore
-Johnson showed well
All is not lost.
On the Bright Side, a win v the Argos

Know the smallest things and the biggest things, the shallowest things and the deepest things. As if it were a straight road mapped out on the ground ... These things cannot be explained in detail. From one thing, know ten thousand things. When you attain the Way of strategy there will not be one thing you cannot see. You must study hard.

Saskatchewan visits Toronto.
At least one of the 1 and 6 teams will get a win.

Our schedule to open the season has been quite tough.WestCoastJoe wrote:Next week we visit Edmonton.joe kapp22 wrote:On the positive side, we beat the Argos next week, at 2-6 we are ahead of last yr's first 8 games and heading into the Bye Week with a playoff spot in hand.

Either way, if we win in Edmonton we are ahead of last season, a loss only ties us.
We've been in this situation before.

I'd love you to say it to my face because you'd only say it once...if you ever had the courage to say it at all!! Blitz, 05/24/2008

Sucks bad, after the Esks, 2 against the Argos, one against the riders.
What bothers me more is at this time in 2010, we "knew" Yonus Davis would make things happen, so would Money McCallum and the Defence was going to be strong, this yr it is not quite the same.
Tim Brown has ball handling issues, the D has been bad, but improving, and the ST unit as a whole has been lackluster.

I thought the Argos played a pretty spirited game against the Ti-Cats. I think they would beat the Lions right now.joe kapp22 wrote:On the positive side, we beat the Argos next week, at 2-6 we are ahead of last yr's first 8 games and heading into the Bye Week with a playoff spot in hand.
