The Toronto Argonauts have added wide receiver Cory Rodgers to the team's practice roster and DS/LB Tang Bacheyie to the club's active roster, the Argos announced on Thursday.
Rodgers, who was originally taken by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft, played 21 games for the Lions. The 6'1, 179-pound product of Texas Christian University caught 35 passes for 462 yards and 5 touchdowns while with B.C.
Bacheyie, meanwhile, was selected by Lions 29th overall in the fourth round of the 2009 CFL Canadian Draft. The Windsor, Ontario native played in three OFSAA high school football championships before spending four seasons at the University of Kansas.
Both players had spent 2009 training camp with the B.C. Lions.
