Lions have signed Geroy Simon to a 3 year extension. No details as of yet. Source: TSN.ca

Slotback Geroy Simon has signed a three year contract extension with the Lions that will keep him here through the 2011 season. Here's the link. More details to follow.

Safe bet to say no one will be wearing #81 again for the Lions. Three more years of superman poses is great news. :beer:

A signed contact through 2011 means watching Geroy do his Superman pose in the sunshine and fresh air at B.C. Place. It doesn't get any better than that. :yes:

At his age, that means he'll probably retire a Lion, which works for me...they'll have to retire his jersey if he stays that long.

correction... Geroy is on at 7:40.... either I hear wrong or they adjusted their schedule.

Great to have Assistant Coach Simon aboard for the next 3 years....unless Head Coach Buono suddenly decides to cut his a$$ part way through. Nah....Wally's never done that before.

Was surprised. I have to start paying closer attention. I had no idea the Lions have so many players they are looking to extend NOW rather than later. Good to have a first ballot HofFamer locked up. :popcorn:
