the blackout is lifeted for the game they just said on tsn

Of course it matters! Now I can stay home and watch it on TV because:

- the Dome is too hot
- the Dome is too loud
- the weather outside is too nice
- the weather outside is too poor
- I can't get there by car or transit or airplane
- the lineups are too long
- I don't want to sit next to someone I don't know, especially someone who cheers loudly
- I can change the channel to watch something else in between plays
- the Canucks aren't playing
- the Canucks are playing
- it's not the NFL

Any other excuses anybody want to add to the list?

And in case anybody is wondering, I'm being sarcastic as I will be there and cheering my face off, as I do every game! The lifting of the blackout only serves the benefit of me being able to PVR it and watch it again later.

Well I can't go because I will be at home with my sick daughter. So I guess I am happy to be aprt of the evening, even if it is from home.
