It would be an interesting stat to see how many times a third down gamble was successful when it is 5+ yards or longer. I bet that in the end the stat evens out scoring a TD instead of a FG, if you just look strictly at it from a points scored perspective.Scottish Leos Fan wrote:Haha agree. Well, all kidding aside, I'm concerned. Poor kicking lost us the first go round with the Boo Bummers. However, it might spur the coaches to decide to go for it on third and whatever if it is in the right spot on the field. Also, if PATs don't pan out mebbe just go 4 2.
