Even if your water isn't brown, I would do as MacNews says and use your bottled water.
Me too. Just hoping that the fact we used water before we heard the advisory will not be a problem :cr: and thinking that we might be among the fewer lucky ones :cr:

At 51, I have never been in a water advisory before. I wonder about such things as the dishwasher, hand washing dishes and hand washing hands? Also, if there is stuff in the water, will it end up sitting at the bottom of the water heater?

Boiling won't get rid of the silt, it just kills the bacteria that may be present.

its ironic that only a few months ago, they were trying to convince us that we didnt need to be buying water because ours was the best and safest in the world, blah blah

It used to be, but I havent trusted it or liked it since I came back in 92. That means the last time I did was in 79.

Another big storm is due tomorrow. It looks like in Greater Vancouver, the desperation for water has become more popular than the rush for Sony PlayStation 3's as people are also camping out at supermarkets to get their hands on bottled water. The rush for water has led to some fights.

This has become a dreaded sign that many supermarkets have been forced to put up. I noticed that in their haste they misspelled the word "inconvenience".

With all the rain we've been getting, simply put a tarp outside your porch and catch the water you want. We've got 4 buckets of rainwater.

It looks like the advisory is still in place.

Another huge wind storm will be hitting Vancouver and Seattle on Thursday. Among other things, that might affect Hasselbeck's passing at Qwest Field.

Shouldn't be a problem unless Seattle is playing tomorrow.
