Probably the most interesting thing (to my mind at least) in regards to this sale is the fact that Arland Bruce’s concussion lawsuit against the CFL didn’t stop it from happening.

Unlike a supposed sale that was supposed to take place closer to home.......

Could be regarded as lending credence to the thought that Braley was blowing smoke when he blamed that particular lawsuit as preventing any sale of the Lions.

I would be most curious to hear how one could proceed while another was stopped dead in its tracks.

Yes.... not sure why Braley made that point as there is not just the Bruce suit which will go before the Supreme Court of Canada and a class action with Korey Banks and Eric Allen,

This sale is just a matter of Rogers joining its other MLSE partners, including Bell, in the Argo ownership group. The biggest potential benefit for the league is that Rogers radio and TV properties, including Sportsnet, might give more coverage to the Argos.
