Seat relocation

Got a baby now, so moved from midfield to the corner of the end zone. Row AA, so no stairs, a little extra leg room, quick ins and outs, and mainly to keep costs down, as I imagine we'll be sometimes leaving early or not able to even show up. So question: anyone have season seats in this area? Not sure if I'll regret it, not being mid field. I'm sure our little guy won't notice a difference! Seems like 80% of the time the play is between the 30s, so I'm not expecting an improvement, just wondering if the downgrade is too drastic.

End zone seats are the best. I sat on the sidelines at Empire in the 1960s and '70s and in the corner of the end zone at B.C. Place for a while before moving down low near the middle of the end zone around the turn of the century, and I love these seats more than any others I've had in the stadium. (I also sat down low in the end zone by choice at Tempire in 2010-11.) You won't get the passionate diehard fans up near the exit rows and you won't be able to interact with the players and coaches coming in and out of the locker room but you will get more of a player's eye view of the field than from the sideline. And you will enjoy the convenience of being able to come and go easily. The biggest sacrifice is not being able to enjoy the sideline view of the overhead screen. The end screen is tiny by comparison but still viewable.

I can't make comment on end zone seats as I've never sat in them at BC Place. Closest I've been to that was sitting up in the high corner of Level 4 for the 1983 Grey Cup back when ST holders did not automatically get their own seats. The only other time I watched a football game from an end zone seat was when I sat in the south end zone for the 1995 Grey Cup in Regina. I was too busy shivering in the teeth of that wind howling into my face out of the north to care whether the sightline was OK or not. I just wanted the damned game to end so I could out of there. As for the row selection you will love that. For several years I sat on the aisle in Row DD of Sect 43 Lvl 2. I loved those seats for the same reason you mention. Step out of my seat, climb 2 stairs and I was heading down into the tunnel to the concourse. Could be in and out for a whiz and another beer might miss only a couple of plays.

I'm pretty sure the seats stay where they are, and you're the one that moves.

I kid. End Zone seats, particularly midway up, center, are the best place to watch football. You've picked convenient seats but not ideal for the coaches tape view.

Congrats on parenthood. I hear it's an adventure.
