Sure seems like they are about to drop Lions and Caps coverage. Maybe they will offer pre and post game for both only since all games are televised?

who will handle p-b-p this year. My money is on HockeyAbbs. Farhan, Moj, Price as long shots. Maybe scotty will be back via contract basis.
TSN 1040 pre and post game shows were really improved with Jeff Patterson added to the usual group of Moj, Burnie, Gulio, etc. I assume Jeff is now on contract, after been canned two years ago (probably due to complaining by canucks ownership) but seems to be on the air more than ever now. Maybe scotty will be the same.

TSN 1410 is the bottom-rated station in the market, with an average audience of 500. Combined, the two stations have less than 5% of the local radio market. Bell isn't making money off these stations and they won't want to pay much for talent or broadcast rights.

He's the first Lions PBP guy ever, that I won't listen to...and I go back to Jim Cox, who was about the best in my books. I guess Rintoul's over-the-top adoration of the Seahawks rubbed me the wrong way. I do admire his love of football and hopefully Scotty will land on his feet with another gig.
