Lions looking to rebound from last week's heartbreaking overtime loss to Calgary. Montreal playing their 3rd game in 11 days which should give the Lions a bit of an advantage. Lions limping going into the game with several starters out with injuries. The key is how their replacements will do. It will be their opportunity to shine.

With Chris Rainey such a dangerous punt returner, Damaris Johnson, right now, provides practice roster depth in the event of an injury to Rainey. Rainey was a 5th round draft choice of Pittsburg. He played running back at college. He has 4.36 speed in the 40 yard. Rainey, right now, is the most dangerous return man in the CFL.

Damaris Johnson went undrafted but did play in the NFL. He caught 52 passes as a wide receiver in the NFL for 601 yards (average of 11.2 yards per catch). He was an excellent return man in college. He also returned a 98-yard punt for a touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys, which is tied for the third longest punt return in NFL history. Johnson is also a burner, with a 4.28 40 yard dash.

Johnson is very good insurance. I would not be surprised to see him scooped up by another CFL team in the future.

35 yard reception to Carter is not how you want to start the game. Relieved it's only a single point.

Nice TD. The zone read seemed to make the Als hesitate just enough for Johnson to get through the hole
