Okay all are actually more about NFL but all good reads, IMO

Take your eye off the ball (title explains a lot. you can gain a lot of knowledge by realizing there are all kinds of battles going on and watching just the ball is missing out a large part of the game. even has a chapter on how drafts are/should be conducted)

Why the left tackle is over-rated (argues against a lot of 'common knowledge' that shouldn't necessarily be so)

Scorecasting (a book using data to attack common strategies in all pro sports- even hockey. According to this book PUNTING should never happen, its a complete waste of a down!!!)

My library system (vancouver public library) even has a couple books meant to be read by girlfriends, or boyfriends ;) ,who want to know whats going on when they watch the game with their signifigant other.
