Re: CFL Games, Sep 12 to Sep 14 and Lions' Depth Chart
It's a good thing most of you guys can't see the RNation site right now. It's pretty ugly on TSN 1200 though...and you can tune into that. Is the officiating crooked? After the missed Roughing the Kicker call, one has to presume so. Bob Ackles is spinning in his grave after all the work he did on of...

Re: Travis Lulay? Have we seen his last game?
Ottawa has one qb already that plays like he's injured; they don't need a matching pair.MexicoLionFan wrote: Now would say OTT take a flyer on Lulay for $300,000 a season to sell tickets and hope he stays "sound"?

Re: All things Lions Marketing/Promotions 2015
Speaking of late Larrys does your usher do a good job of holding people back when Lions are on Offense. I have people walk right by thinking its their right to block your view. Contrary Ive heard Canuck ushers painfully keep people back till a stoppage. Thnx BB Section QQ is a bit different, Bob. I...

Re: All things Lions Marketing/Promotions 2015
Just as an aside, I believe I saw that beer was priced at $8.50 or $9.00 at BC Place Friday.
It's $5.50 in Ottawa. Somebody's making some coin.

Re: 2014 Rating the CFL teams, after Week 4
Short little piece in todays Province on the CFL L EAST division whereby in theory the Redblacks lead with a .333 win percentage. So, rating the West on top of the East makes sense, IMO. http://ottawacitizen.com/sports/football/cfl/call-it-the-cfl-least-where-the-brand-new-redblacks-are-contenders ...

Re: All things Lions Marketing/Promotions 2015
Thanks for sharing. I do NOT know how to attract more fans, just how to keep me. And the best thing they have done to do that is field a team I can be proud of (that means 100% effort). It'll be interesting to see how the Lions copy from Ottawa. Do you say "its a special situation?" or do...

Re: All things Lions Marketing/Promotions 2015
Lions are pricing themselves out of the market. Everyone now has large HD TV's to watch compared to just a few short seasons ago. It's getting harder to justify ticket prices for many folks I suspect. Precisely In Ottawa my ST are $540 each, South side first row upper deck 35 yard line. I had (alon...

That's the main reason I don't attend much anymore. Ferry and ticket prices.Blue In BC wrote:Lions are pricing themselves out of the market. Everyone now has large HD TV's to watch compared to just a few short seasons ago.

Re: This I Find Odd
You guys are way over thinking this........like Hambone, I put no credence in these polls as they are nothing more than popularity contests.......nothing to do with the realities of football. Who in their right mind has the time to enter this type of contest multiple times to gain the satisfaction ...

Re: Toronto council approves BMO Field expansion
Council voted 39-3 on Thursday in support of the move, with Mayor Rob Ford and his brother, councillor Doug Ford, among those voting against it. D'oh ... Not that anybody can figure out what goes on between Rob Ford's ears, including Ford, but I don't understand why he's been against the BMO propos...

I'm going to find a nice comfy spot where I can watch the dumpster fire that is the 2014 BC Lions burn.... Also, I never knew that Hawkballer was related to the former OC - based on his posts during JC's time as OC with BC. Actually not. But if that's what some of you fools need to get by...

Re: PQ Election Tactic
At first I thought it was just a little bit more of the whiny PQ but on reflection I realize that this strategy has deliberately pitted Francophones against the rest of the residents of Quebec. It is disgusting in that it will foster the idea that if the PQ loses this election that somehow it was &...

And the Canucks now have neither. Not gloating, as my Senators are little better. Agreed that a suspension is inevitable, but the way it played out was not planned or conspired. Glenn was never promised a starting job. Desjardins will take care of the asset, that's all that I am saying. But it does...
