The team looked fine for this stage of the season and full of promise.

Their uniforms were not fine; I thought they were a disgrace. Red helmets over Orange jerseys? Did Kato pack the wrong kit?

Half time observations:
Jennings is a keeper.
ST look VERY different; 8/10.
D looks sound and flows to the ball nicely. 7/10
OL is providing time and looks like an improvement. 6/10.
Uniforms are so effective they caused a power outage: -4/10.

On balance, I've enjoyed the evening, despite Rod Black.

Thanks for posting here, Matt. Good stuff. It reads as though the Staff (do I mean Geroy?) has done a nice job of finding candidates with skills and good attitudes. This is promising for those of us who bleed Orange.

A successful game, despite the loss. A leader emerges, making mistakes, sure, but LEADING. The team wants to play for him! Perhaps it is the "end of the beginning."
