Re: Rourke to undergo surgery

Could be a season ending injury. According to a google search "No weight bearing is allowed for 6-8 weeks after surgery. A walking cast or boot is then used for another 4-6 weeks. If pins were used to hold the fourth and fifth metatarsals in place, they are removed 6-8 weeks after surgery. Pat...

Re: Rourke to undergo surgery

The good news, its not so fracture. Depending on, and if, hardware is required to repair the ligament, there's a chance he can recover fully before the regular season is over.

Re: Lions at Riders Aug. 19, 2022

With Marino back I sure wish the Lions would consider Pipkin or O’Connor for those short yardage sneaks. Is that good wear and tear on your franchise player anyways? I get it Rourke is definitely the best option but I guess we hold our breaths for the next two games. I'm hoping that the time Marino...

Re: Lions at Riders Aug. 19, 2022

Riders have Marino and Leonard back so their pass rush should be improved.
They are still questionable on the O line as they cut Na'Ty Rodgers due to the amount of penalties he took.

Re: B.C at Calgary Aug. 13, 2022

What impresses me is Campbell is willing to take risks. I'm sure the players love that, especially with this youngish team. After the conservative Buono years, it is refreshing. He also knows how to play the clock and makes sound decisions when the game is on the line. Agree 100%. The risks taken (...

Re: Training camp 2022

Lions have signed veteran QB and recent Argo cut Antonio Pipkin to fill the void left by the injury to Kevin Thomson. I'm OK with it. As a CFL vet he should be able to pick up the BC offense much quicker than any other newcomer would. Given we are 3/4 of the way thru camp landing someone who can ra...

https://twitter.com/i/status/1526990144129052672 Farhan is optimistic a deal can be done by the end of the day. Certainly sounds promising although Farhan tends to be more of a glass half full guy compared to idiot Madani whose CFL glass never has more than a layer of dust at the bottom. I'm not ca...
