You get the feeling Rainey will need to chip in one of them on a return.

Re: Riders vs. Lions Game Day Thread

23-10 Sask lead at the half.

Too many penalties on D killing us. Two fumbles didn't help either.

We need better gun control laws so we can stop shooting ourselves in the foot so much.

Re: Riders vs. Lions Game Day Thread

Leone's chip shot narrows it to a 20-10 Sask lead late in Q2.

Re: Riders vs. Lions Game Day Thread

Not sure it was drawn up as a lateral there but it worked and I'll take it. 7-3 BC after the 2PCA fails.

Re: 2016 All Things Lions Marketing & Promotions

I wasn't up to speed on this week's schedule and didn't realize there was a game tonight. It makes total sense. Everybody knows there are only 2 days on the calendar year where there isn't a pro sports game out of one of North America's major sports leagues. Those 2 days are the day before and the ...

Re: 2016 All Things Lions Marketing & Promotions

I don't really know if the rumblings of moving the schedule up were coming from there, Saskatchewan or all of the prairie teams. Regardless I can understand their preference for home games on the front end given their stadium and climate. Funny thing is we sometimes get grief from those corners of ...

Re: Are there ANY glaring weaknesses on this 2016 Lions team

In light of what I'm hearing in the marketing thread re: BCLionsDen, I see a weakness in some of the decision makers in this organisation: they need new shoes, because the ones they have now are full of bulletholes.

Re: 2016 All Things Lions Marketing & Promotions

I just tried emailing the Lions to tell them what fools they are for not allowing BC Lions players or staff on the BC Lions Den Podcast, but clicking on the contact button on the Lions website leads to a dead end page. So I phoned them and left a voice mail telling the Lions that they are fools and...

Re: 2016 All Things Lions Marketing & Promotions

Don't know the full story in regards to this but apparently the Lion's organization has decided to no longer support the BCLions Den podcast. This means they will no longer allow(?) or provide Lions' players (and I am assuming employees) to participate in the podcast. If I am following the tweets r...

Re: Damon Allen To Retire

I've gone back and re-read this whole thread again since its current resurrection and somehow it got me to thinking about our incredible 1994 playoff run. En route to our championship that year, we knocked off teams QBed by (in order) Allen, Doug Flutie and Tracy Ham, all of whom were starters for t...

Re: BC Lions & Whitecaps fudge attendance numbers

This is nothing new in sports. Every team that does not sell out fudges their "announced attendance" numbers. That's exactly why the media always reports that data as "announced attendance". In the old days when they literally had to add up turnstile clicks you could give the te...

Make the final 28-3 BC. Lions go to 2-0 to maintain their hold on 1st in the west.

Another Ham turnover, Purifoy with the long INT return into Ham territory with under 2mins left. Lulay in to mop up.

Re: Ti-Cats vs. Lions Game Day Thread

Leone adds three more to make is 28-3 BC. This must be shaping up as the worst home loss for Ham so far in the short history of THF.

Another Ham turnover pending review, and.... it's ruled a fumble and BC ball at the Ham 35 with under 6mins left.
