They announced the Lions win in the stadium shortly after the start - Shorty and Tommy noted that it drew a huge response from the crowd. AND HEY, LET'S NOT FORGET THOSE GIANTS! 2-0 win over the Regina Pats last night, for their 20th win of the season (and a 20-2-1-1 record with 42 points!) Anyone w...

How do you know he didn't try? If you're going to trade someone like that, you're gonna have to ask for a lot back for him... and the team that's going to take him will then have to worry about coming up with the cash to sign him... IF he decides to sign there. If you were a GM, would you want to gi...

You can't trade someone you don't own: to get assets for Jovo, Nonis would have had to sign him first for at least as much as Gretzky was offering - probably more, because Gretz *really* wanted Jovo for Phoenix, and Jovo *really* wanted to go play for #99... Even getting him straight up for the same...

You the same guy that called Rick Ball this afternoon saying we were missing Bert and Jovo? Ball was right, we had them last year, they didn't do squat, and we missed the playoffs... so why would they be any more useful now?

They had to match the Flyers' offer sheet, or lose Kesler. Nonis wouldn't have matched if he didn't think Kesler could EVENTUALLY be worth that.

One of the TSN guys last night noted that Luongo has so far not let a straight-on shot beat him; every goal against so far has been a deflection or a weird bounce or a third or fourth rebound... Minny's single goal last night was a deflection off Krajicek's skate. I keep noticing that Luongo seems a...
