DD is not starting out well against the wind. Sounds like our defense are not communicating. Tucker wide open and RR getting way too much time. Obviously the offence are still in training camp mode. Good thing this is a preseason game. Geroy just missed a pass he should have caught. Where is Tony Si...

Lions Fanfest Abbotsford

In spite of a steady rain, many fans of all ages showed up for the Lions Fan Fest today at Rotary Stadium in Abbotsford. Lots of good stuff going on with the introduction of the new Felions (3 from Abbotsford) Coach and Gen Manager Wally spoke about the season and how the rest of the division might...

 Once again the Canucks prove that there is only one Championship team - the Lions. Too bad some more fans wouldn't recognize that, especially the band wagon jumpers who really don't know a lot about hockey who just go to the games cause its the thing to do. Luongo played his rear end off with ...

Bobby Singh missed a lot of games over the last few years. I am sure Wally once again knows what he is doing. Dean Valley and Sherko should be able to get the job done. BS will likely catch on in the Peg where most of the ex Lions wind up. I wish him the best and thanks for his contribution. There i...

DD is willing to re-negotiate his contract over a few years to allow the xtra money to sign Murphy. Great team guy and I don't blame him. Murphy keeps his career going and protects the Lions investment. I hope they get this thing done. We watched for a few years OLineman try and play the left tackle...

:rockin: Training camp will be at Rotary Stadium again in Abbotsford and likely May 16/17. The Lions were treated very well in Abbotsford last year and were very happy with the fields and the food at Columbia Bible College. Hopefully this May will be a drier one. Looking fwd to May already!

I would not mind seeing a new stadium with a retractable roof. Something around 35000 seats. I would love to see the stadium rebuilt at the old empire stadium site..Great backdrop with the Lions peaks in the background. We definitely need to keep the stadium new or old in the Vancouver area, not the...

:rockin: This guy has tremendous speed when healthy. The poor Taylor field turf and a horse collar tackle from Luca Congi their kicker did Tony in last time. I am excited to see this guy play at training camp again!

:thdn: Once again the Super Bowl did not live up to its hype. If Chicago had any kind of quarterbacking they could have won the game. Their defence played tough. Manning should not have got the MVP..Rhodes or Addai.. typical US media. I am a football fan true and true but give me the Grey Cup any da...

:rockin: This guy deserves another shot. He has worked his tail off to get himself ready to play again. It was a fluke he got horse collared at Taylor Field and bent his knee back on that horrible turf. This guy is a game breaker and he showed the first game against Sask and nearly broke it all the ...

:thdn: THis is a farce that shows how rediculous the NHL is by voting for players by the fans. The coaches, media should be voting. The NHL all star game has become a fan ballot stuffing exercise. Bettman has got his wish.. basketball on ice! Having a guy like Fitzpatrick just shows that fans can co...

:rockin: Good news for us Lions fans.. we keep Dave Ritchie..I doubt Chappy will get the job in Hamilton. He would be easier to replace than Dave Ritchie..Toronto didn't exactly have a wonderful offence under Austin..Joseph is still not a passer..Austin will have his work cut out for him.
