Perhaps y'all expect a lot more from someone who's primary job is to sit on the bench.................
All we need of this guy is to practice hard, it seems that he is at least useful at that.
I think that was basically my original point that you seem to have taken issue with...

Give the guy a break.

The guy gets 650,000 a year to practice and play once a month. I don't think he needs a break from me.

Good thing the rest of the team isn't as cynical about him as you guys.
All I was saying is that he is useful as a backup, who we only need to put in the effort at practice. I don't think he's useless at all, it's just that the Canucks don't need him to do anything really but work hard.

Mitchell does not look ready to return at all.
No way he was pushing himself today. He'll go harder at the game day skate and then make a game time call.
Sabourin's useless but we already knew that
All we need of this guy is to practice hard, it seems that he is at least useful at that.

I swear Pierre Maguire has the biggest hard-on for Kevin Bieksa.
Yah, and Matt Cooke too. He going on and on about both of them like he had them in his pool or something. He also gets Team 1040 airtime weekly so was probably sucking up a little to keep his bread buttered.

It's true that they were far from dominating. But how do explain Detroit having two days off and them playing so poorly? Maybe the home team shut them down? I for one am tired of the second guessing of a team that loses one out of every 7 games. So they don't score a ton, so they have a crappy power...

I agree that this trade won't ever happen. However, it brings up a point. How many of you think Buck is untouchable? The more I think about it, Wally's ability to find young QB's and groom them to success, seems nearly flawless over 15 years. Could we not extort a QB starved Eastern team for some mo...

The really funny one was Chris Drury
Dallas Drake. If it was Drury he woulda thought twice about it with his recent foggy head.

OK, so at the risk of being flamed and labelled an insensitive fellow... Your comments Jason lay the blame of this 'non-deal' for you, so far, at Wally's feet. So where do you want to finish out your career, here in BC, or in Saskatchewan? Because if its the latter your comments seem to be aimed at...

I have the feeling that someone will be chewing on his ear to move Singh if anyone has to be moved.
Not so fast... he's supposed to coach my kid this year!

The guy wants to play another year, couldn't scare up any meaningful NFL interest, and is being offered a very generous salary that has turned out to be the de facto league maximum for his position. (Salary restraint in the CFL - what a concept!) Why would he turn it down? They'll find a way around...

Gawd. Aren't we all so guilible. Murphy will sign within a week or two. It's all negotiations my friends, and negotiation tactics. Remember Bobby Singh was going to quit the team and become a full time politician? If Murphy wasn't interested in playing would he bother with local radio interviews? He...

I have forgotten what you are referring to about Jeff Paterson's comments. Help us on that one. Please no. That horse is dead, quit beating it. As for Tomlinson? He is as bland as buttered toast, I find. At least Ferraro has an opinion. I always liked Larscheid. For all his blatant homerism he alwa...

Pierce is ready to take hold of the team.

At what point can a CFL team make an offer to Casey Printers?

If Buck is ready, why pursue Casey?

The Canucks benifitted from the Lions ace in the hole for playing the Eastern team, the timezone change.
True. However, they've also dominated the East on the road. There is more to it than the time change, they match up well against the East.

It should be a sweep in the finals. Hehe.
